We live in a world of darkness and despair. Much like the wise men of old searching for something more, something real - we too are searching for that which will bring us real life, bring us peace, bring us joy, bring us hope. It shouldn't surprise then that John would refer to the coming of Jesus as "the Light that shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." This Christmas season, no matter what your circumstances might look like, remember that the light has come and the darkness you may be facing cannot stand up to it.
